2019 is the year of the Livestock Guarding Dog. CCF celebrates the 25th Anniversary of its Livestock Guarding Dog program by recognizing the invaluable contribution that LGDs make to conservation efforts in Namibia and worldwide. The program is highly successful with farmers reporting a dramatic decline (80-100%) in livestock losses due to predation.

While saving wild cheetahs you will not only have a chance to meet Dr Marker, but enjoy sampling tasty hors d’oeuvres, dine on an expertly prepared buffet and drink some favorite Northwest beverages.  Be prepared for an exciting night of bidding on carefully curated auction items as well as taking part in an exciting interactive scavenger hunt and many other lively activities.  Dr Marker presentation will bring you up to speed on the latest news regarding CCF’s valiant efforts to stem the illegal pet trade in Somaliland and exciting news of sustainability at the CCF Centre and much, more Cheetah news.
